This week I chat with John Miles; keynote speaker, author, combat veteran, and host of the #1 ranked alternative health podcast, Passion Struck!
John shares his origin story - from Naval Academy graduate and military officer to Fortune 50 CIO and "recovering senior executive." Despite reaching high levels of career success, John realized that he nearly lost his sense of purpose. This was the spark that set him on a journey to finding his TRUE passion.
John explains the meaning behind Passion Struck - it's not a single destination but an ongoing way of life focused on fulfilling your highest potential and serving others. He shares research showing 76% of people at the end of life say their biggest regret was not becoming their ideal self, essentially leading an unlived life.
The key to being Passion Struck: tuning into your inner voice and intrinsic motivations instead of societal expectations or others' definitions of success. John profiles luminaries he researched (Oprah, Derek Jeter, Bono, etc.) who created lives aligned with their purpose by pursuing their dreams relentlessly.
